Let’s talk holiday gift guides! This year, I want to make an impact on small business I love and provide you all with the most unique, personalized and special gift options on the market! So, I made a small business gift guide for women by women to spread the love. I hope you will consider shopping small this holiday season. Small businesses need our support and love more than ever!! Gigi’s Petals

I have been talking about Katie at Gigi’s Petals all year. She is one of my favorite small shop owners for a few reasons – she is so genuine, her jewelry is gorgeous and she goes above and beyond for her customers.

GigisPetals Story

She was a busy mom of four young kids facing anxiety and postpartum struggles she didn’t fully understand. She wanted something for herself because she had been focused on academics and athletics before having kids. She started making hair flowers for her girls and people wanted to pay her to make them She was surprised and excited. GiGisPetals was born!

Not long after that, what started as a small hobby as a creative outlet making hair flowers, eventually grew into a business making jewelry that celebrates people and our unique life stories through personalized pieces.

Inspired Generations

I am really excited to tell you about the next small shop, Inspired Generations! This one goes wayy back for me – to my college days. One of my great guy friends in college gave me the coolest block decor set (that I still have) from his mom. He and his mom are seriously some of the kindest humans on this planet. His mom’s shop has evolved since a decade ago, but she still carries gorgeous and functional home decor items.

Robin wanted to “create beautiful feel-good products that bring a smile and inspire you to share your smile.” That is exactly what her products at Inspired Generations do. It all started with a gorgeous serving peace platter to divide chips and dip and has evolved into over 400 unique products sold to gift shops worldwide.

The Messy Painter’s Story

My girl Chrystina Castiglione of The Messy Painter is the most talented artist. Her stuff is absolutely gorgeous! I have two of her University of Florida prints (Go Gators!) in my living room and they are some of my favorite pieces of home decor in my house. While these would be a great gift, read below the cutest and most affordable gift for anyone one your list!

Chrystina started The Messy Painter because she wanted to create artwork that she would want in her own home. She was tired of going to home goods or target (me too!!) and seeing the same arbitrary, overpriced pieces of work that she knew probably didn’t benefit an independent artist all that much.

She also wanted to be able to create unique, original, quality artwork that you can’t find anywhere else. And, she wanted to make artwork more accessible and affordable for everyone- whether you are looking to redecorate or gift someone something – she has an option for you!

The Messy Painter’s cocktail collection is one of my favorites. Maybe because cocktails are also my favorite? I just love the idea of gifting these gorgeous prints with a bottle of liquor and/or a beautiful glass to serve it in. These prints are seriously beautiful. I got one for my mom and sister of their favorite drinks – tequila tequila (margarita’s anyone?) and aeperol spritz. Strengthlets was started by the wife of a friend from college, Nikki Hartman. The cutest part about this company is how much her husband is her number one supporter! I love watching couples who truly believe in each other and support one another in their dreams!

It is a woman-owned business designed to empower and support women (I know we all can get behind that!!), while also focusing on giving back to reputable non-profit organizations throughout the country. I love the concept behind this company! I always feel better when I am making a purchase from a company that gives back.

Stengthlets has beautiful, feminine bracelets made from stainless steel. All of the designs of the unique bracelets incorporate two hands, symbolizing support from one woman to another. Some designs are light and fun (fist bump bangle – how cute!), while the “ribbon designs” utilize various awareness ribbons supporting charity partners and their causes. Also, you heard this here first… she is coming out with gold in a few weeks! Just in time for the holidays. My current favorites are the pinky promise bangle (Kooper and I always do that together) and the heart bangle!

Karen’s Paperie

Karen has a great stationary business in St. Petersburg, Florida. Currently, she is working on getting a website up and running. But, I couldn’t let the lack of a website discourage me from sharing this awesome gift idea! My mom got me one of these super slabs about a year ago. I keep it by my front door and use it to write down everything – from to do lists to grocery lists to notes about preschool with Kyle!

The BKR glass water bottle is such a great gift for two reasons – to promote hydration and help the environment! This one isn’t as much of a “small business” anymore, but Tal and Kate two friends who made a decision to breakup with single-use plastic water bottles, but disliked the metal and plastic reusable options available at the time.
